Xidian Changchang Jinbei Converter Station ±200kV converter transformer passed the test

Recently, Xidian has become the first ±200kV converter transformer manufactured by the Jinbei-Nanjing ±800kV UHV DC transmission project of the State Grid Corporation in Jinbei-Nanjing, and all the data are superior to the technical agreement. In the operation, the converter transformer not only has to withstand the high-voltage AC voltage on the grid side, but also withstands the high DC voltage of the converter valve in the polarity reversal. It has a very complicated and strict assessment of the electric field of the transformer. In order to fully complete the product manufacturing tasks, the project is under the unified command of Xidian Group and relies on the transformer industry R&D platform for joint design. The Jinbei-Nanjing ±800kV UHV DC Transmission Project (referred to as the Jinbei Project) has 7 sets of ±400kV and 7 sets of ±200kV converter transformers.
